Latest immigration draws

Cut-off scores and invitation numbers for the federal and provincial programs we work with most, taken from the official government sources and nothing else. Express Entry updates itself from the IRCC feed; the provincial figures are checked and refreshed each week.

Express Entry

The federal pool. Invitations go out roughly every two weeks, usually alternating between category-based rounds, the Canadian Experience Class and provincial nominees. A provincial nomination adds 600 points, which is why those rounds show the highest cut-offs.

Ontario, OINP

Ontario rebuilt its program in 2026. The Employer Job Offer streams were revoked and the Workforce Priority Stream replaced them as the route tied to a job offer.

Alberta, worker streams

Alberta draws from a single expression of interest pool and invites by stream and by sector, so the cut-off depends entirely on which draw you are waiting for.

Alberta, entrepreneur streams

The entrepreneur streams work differently from the worker streams, and the difference catches people out.

British Columbia, Skills Immigration

British Columbia invites in targeted categories rather than in general rounds. Some of the Innovate draws are wage-based and carry no score at all, only an income threshold.

British Columbia, entrepreneurs

Small, regular rounds, with the Base and Regional streams almost always invited on the same day.

How to read a draw

A cut-off score is the lowest score invited in one particular round. It is not a pass mark, and it is not a prediction. It moves with the size of the pool and the number of invitations issued, so a score that is comfortable one month can fall short the next.

Two points worth keeping in mind. A high cut-off in a provincial nominee round does not mean the province is hard to get into, because those candidates already hold a 600-point nomination. And a low cut-off in a small targeted round usually reflects a narrow pool rather than an easy route, since only candidates in that occupation were eligible to be invited at all.
